La Perdrix Creative Center organizes painting and cookery courses throughout the summer, but also lets the separate units (like the Cluny Cottage) for holiday use. The property dates back to the 13th century, is one of the oldest properties in the region and has a lot of original features and listed monuments, like a roman well of 2000 years old.
The near 2 hectares of grounds surrounding the buildings are beautifully kept and provide a lot of privacy. The Cottage stands on its own and has a private terrace underneath the grape vines. Cars can be parked under a large open barn. Part of that barn has been converted into a gallery, where exhibitions are held, but also provides space for table tennis and darts. At your request creative workshops will be organized there with a professional tutor. The property is safe for children. There is a children’s play area with a slide and lots of other toys to play with. La Perdrix is set in the historic region of the Perigord Vert, only 2 km. from the market town Riberac, 30 km. from Perigueux. Sport facilities like swimming, canoeing, tennis, golf and riding are all available within a 20 min. drive.
It has 5 bedrooms and a large comfortable living annex kitchen with the original fireplace. The 2 large shower rooms are in the old bakery house right behind the cottage.
