	Self-catering holiday farmhouse to rent near Brantome in the Dordogne, France. In a tranquil setting with magnificent views all round, this farmhouse and adjoining barn have been stunningly converted for maximum comfort with all modern conveniences.On the edge of the village, it benefits from a village shop and cafe and is within walking distance of a lakeside auberge.
The house sleeps 10-12 people and because of the layout is equally suitable for small or large numbers.One of the bedrooms is set up so that up to six children can sleep there if desired. Access is very good by train to Angouleme or with Ryannair\'s cheap flights to Limoges.There are lots of things to do for people of all ages including games for children to use in the garden, a toddlers\' slide, a barbecue and a covered area in case the weather is occasionally less than perfect.The pool area is lit both above ground and underwater which is fun for evening swims.There is also a safety fence and lockable gate.With four bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom it is exceptionally well set up. Brantome is nearby with its markets, canoeing and wonderful restaurants by the river and Aubeterre is very close with its unique monolithic church.There is planty of interest for all tastes, including a golf course at Perigeux.
