	Obviously for this money you expect the best work from the local artisans, and that is what you have. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a massive living area and kitchen/dining area leading onto a marvellous covered veranda/balcony overlooking the garden and distant woodlands. Gas fired central heating and lots of fireplaces...I was so impressed! It\'s great!! Love the garden too!!!
The photos don\'t do it justice: it\'s a real \"Mary Poppins bag\" of a house! It goes on and on, delighting the eye in each room (the lady\'s artwork adds to the enjoyment). As you enter the house up the ancient stones to the front door your eye is drawn to the 7 metre oak beams running across the ceiling, the stone fireplace, the light from all directions: peer around the corner to the tasteful (I dare use that word) kitchen with its beautiful wood work and pans and herbs hanging from the ceiling..Delia and Nigella eat your hearts out! Take a left and you are in a 60m2 living room, real House and Garden feel about it and more of the same as we can either go upstairs via a traditional oak staircase leading to two light airy and spacious bedrooms, a shower-room and a small ante-room. OR you go down the modern oak staircase to the so-called guest rooms, too much for Delia, perfect for Nigella. The bigger room has its own bathroom, while the smaller room has the use of the shower-room. Both rooms lead onto a magic terrace. Call this guest accomodation...WOW...They would become permanent residents, not guests. There is also a laundry/utility room on this level.
The hamlet is well placed for Brantome, Perigueux and Angouleme, the latter also having a TGV station for Paris, Bordeaux and London and Brusselles if you must. Limoges, Poitiers and Bordeaux are within 90 minutes away
